CAUTION:
Avoid tightening the screws too hard, or the
gasket could be deformed or broken.
NOTE:
For the 40 mm (1.57 in) long bolt position, refer to
the photo.
3. Install the fuel pressure regulator onto the
fuel pump body. The valve seat positioned at
the center of the diaphragm should be fitted
to the fuel pump body. Bring the diaphragm
and fuel pressure regulator cover to align
with the air nozzle attached to the fuel pump
body, and install them.
4. Tighten the screws to specification.
Tightening torque:
2 Nm (0.2m-kg, 1.4ft-Ib)
5. Install the fuel pump assembly to the carbu-
retor upper bracket, and connect the fuel
and vacuum lines.
