1. Coolant reservoir tank cap
10) Reinstall the radiator cover and
check for coolant leakage.
RADIATOR

Removal

1. Remove the radiator cover.
2. Drain off the coolant.
3. Remove the radiator mounting bolts.

4. Remove the coolant pipes
5. Remove the radiator.

Inspection

1. Using the cap radiator tester, check that the
radiator cap vacuum valve and pressure
valve operate correctly. Measuring with a
tester, apply the specified pressure for 10
seconds, and make sure there is no pres-
sure drop.
Valve opening pressure:
88 kPa (0.9 kg/cm
2. Check the radiator core for clogged or flat-
tened fins. If more than 20% of the radiator
core area is flattened, repair or replace the
radiator core. If the radiator is clogged with-
dirtordust, clean it by blowing it from its rear
(engine side) with compressed air.
3. Check the coolant hoses for cracks or dam-
age. Replace as required.
