6. Remove the cam chain tensioner from each
cylinder head and remove the cam sprock-
ets.

7. Remove each cylinder head. Loosen all the
cylinder head nuts and bolts first. Each nut
and bolt must be loose before any one is
removed.
NOTE:
To loosen the cylinder head nuts, align the holes in
the camshaft with the oil plug hole in the cam cap.
Insert an Allen wrench (8 mm (0.31 in)) into the
holes. Using an 8 mm (0.31 in) socket wrench,
loosen the nuts.

8. Remove the three dowels and 0-ring from
each cylinder.
9. Remove the rear cam chain guide from
each cylinder.

10. Remove each cylinder.
11. Remove the three dowels and O-ring from
each crankcase.
