28. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, attach the new Brake Shifter to the
Right Handlebar.
29. Attach the Grip (#15) and Cap (#16) to the Right Handlebar.
30. Pulling on the lower end of the wire or string, route the new Brake
Cable fully into the Frame Assembly.
Note: do not crimp the Cable.
31. Route the Brake Cable through the Cable Clamp of the Potentiometer,
but do not tighten the hardware.
32. Route the Brake Cable through the Brake Arm.
33. Referencing the placement tape on the old Brake Cable, attach the
Brake Cable Hardware to the same location on the new Brake Cable.
34. Referencing the placement tape on the old Brake Cable, tighten the
hardware of the Cable Clamp in the same location on the new Brake
Cable.
35. Using an 8mm open face wrench, tighten the Brake Cable Securing
Nut.
36. Replace the Zip-Ties being sure to secure the proper cables in the
previous locations.
37. Installation is the reverse procedure.
38. Final Inspection
Inspect your machine to ensure that all hardware is tight and components
are properly assembled.
Do not use until the machine has been fully assembled and
inspected for correct performance in accordance with the
Owner's Manual.
