*Using RS-485 is possible by shorting pins 1 and 3 and
pins 2 and 4, and changing the setting to RS-485.
■ Connecting to the Host Device

Note. Ground the shield at the host device to prevent malfunctions.
The +/ polarity designations for the SDA, SDB, RDA, and RDB signals are reversed on some devices. Always check
the signal names of the connected device and connect the polarity correctly.

anything to the ID Controller's SG.

Terminating resistance: RS-422: 220 , RS-485: 110 
Note: Turn ON the terminating resistance at the nodes on both ends of the main cable.
Turn OFF the terminating resistance at all other nodes. Normal transmissions will not
be possible if the terminating resistance is ON at any node other than the end nodes.
