Accessing and Broadcasting Messages

You can send, broadcast, and access a variety of audio, verbal, video, and written messages on the CX5500
unified conference station. This section includes the following topics:

Access Voicemail

Access Skype for Business Voicemail Messages
Broadcasting Messages with Group Paging
Note: Feature availability
The unified conference station may not support all of the features described in this section. Check
with your system administrator to find out which features are available on the unified conference
station.
Access Voicemail
The CX5500 system indicates when there are new voicemail messages in the following ways:
● The Message icon on the Home screen displays the number of new messages you have
● A Message icon with the number of messages is displayed in the status bar
● The Message icon is displayed next to the phone line on the Lines screen
● An audible alert
To access voicemail and video messages:
1 From the Home screen, navigate to Messages > Message Center.
2 If you have multiple lines on the unified conference station, select the line that has the new
message.
3 From the Messages screen, select Connect and follow the prompts to access your messages.
Note: Accessing voicemail remotely
Contact your system administrator or service provider for information on remotely accessing your
voicemail.

Remove Message Alert

If you are not ready to listen to your messages when you receive new messages, you can temporarily
remove the message alert.
