    ● Audio-only conference calls with Open SIP voice platforms or in a Skype for Business environment. You can also make calls in the Skype for Business client and conference calls on the CX5500 unified conference station at the same time. In this scenario, the audio from both calls is automatically bridged together enabling all callers to communicate with each other.

    Using the CX5500 Unified Conference Station as a Conference Phone You can use the CX5500 unified conference station as a full-featured conference phone.     Touchscreen System Indicators and Status The CX5500 unified conference station's indicator lights let you know whether the unified conference station is sending, receiving, or holding audio or video calls. The three microphone indicator lights are located on the three ends of the unified conference station's base, and the active video indicator light is located on the underside of the camera head.

When a data entry field requires only numbers, the onscreen keyboard displays only numbers.

    Depending on how your system administrator set up the user login feature, you may need to log into a phone before you can use it. By default, Polycom phones do not require you to log in before you can use them.

    Your system administrator provides you with login credentials that you can use to log into a visitor desk phone. By default, Polycom phones do not require you to log in before you can use them. However, if you do not log in, you see only the phone’s default profile.

    PC, be aware that most extension cables limit the data rate or provide only USB 2.0 performance, even when plugged into a USB 3.0 port. When you connect the CX5500 to your computer using a USB 2.0 port, a warning message stating that your system can run faster displays.
