You can check the printer configuration using telnet.

Messages Description
There is no paper in tray 1.
There is no paper in tray 2.
There is no paper in tray 3.
The paper feed tray is not correctly set.
Machine is offline.
The machine is in Panel-Off mode.
The paper remains in Bypass tray.
The paper has jammed in Paper tray.
The paper has jammed in the internal or output tray.
The prepaid card is not inserted, or has insufficient
credit.
Printing is in progress.
The proxy user name and password setting is
