3. Start engine and run for two minutes to fill system with
fluid.
4. Stop engine and check fluid level. Fluid should be be-
tween "Min" and "Max" lines on dipstick.

(3) Transmission Removal
1. Refer to Removal and Installation, Section 2B-"MIE In-
board) Models" and remove engine and transmission as
instructed.
2. Disconnect wires from neutral safety switch and audio
warning temperature switch.

b - Audio Warning Temperature Switch

3. Follow instructions "a" or "b":
a. On 530D-TA, 636D-TA, D183 and D219 Engines:
Disconnect seawater hoses from transmission fluid
cooler.

b - Seawater Outlet Hose
c - Transmission Fluid Cooler
