. Disassembly, Reassembly and Inspection of Fuel Injection Pump
1 Disassembly of fuel injection pump

Wash off the dirt and grease on the outside of the
pump with cleaning o i l (kerosene or diesel oil)
before disassembly.
Perform the work in a clean area.
Take off the fuel pump bottom cover and remove
the lubrication oil.
Turn the fuel pump upside down to drain the
fuel oil.
) Loosen the nut with a box spanner and take it off.
Hold the unit either by the hole in the fuel pump
coupling or by placing the coupling in a vice, and
take out the governor weight assembly.

(2) Remove the fuel feed pump.
NOTE: Do not disassemble the fuei feed pump. See
instructions for fuel feedpump
