Preparations for Operation
When Power (5 V) Is Supplied from the PLC (NV3W(-V1) Only)

Start the NV-Designer.

Set NV-Designer Configuration.
Set NV Configuration from the NV-Designer.

Create screens with the NV-Designer.
Connect the PT and PLC using the

XW2Z-200T-4 RS-232C Cable.

Connect the personal computer and the PT.
Turn ON the power to the PLC.

(The PLC will supply 5 V to the PT.)

Transfer the project data from the NV-Designer
to the PT (including screen data).
Make settings from the PT's System Menu.

Transfer the PLC Setup from the CX-Programmer
to the PLC.
(Set the Host Link mode and one stop bit.)

Cycle the power supply to the PLC.

Start communications between the PT and PLC.

CVM1-series PLC, keep the PLC in MONITOR
mode. If the PLC is in RUN mode and the PT at-
tempts to write to PLC memory, an error code of
ER01 will be displayed and memory will not be
written.
