This section describes the error codes that are included in responses to com-
munications commands. The sub-response code from the FINS command
end code in communications responses from PLCs is displayed.
For details, refer to information on FINS commands in the CS/CJ/CP Series
Communications Commands Reference Manual (Cat. No. W342).
OMRON SYSMAC CS/CJ/CP-series PLCs
NV3W error codes are displayed as "ER" followed by the two-digit code.
Countermeasure
1. The PLC Connecting Cable is disconnect-
ed. Check the Connecting Cable to see if it
is wired and connected correctly.
2. Temporary error caused by noise or other
factor. Cycle the power to the PLC and PT.
3. This error will be displayed once at startup.
If operation after that is normal, the PT may
have automatically adjusted its baud rate
because it was different from the baud rate
of the host.
Check whether the number of digits for the
data part on the Keyboard Screen is set cor-
rectly.
When updating the alarm history display is
stopped, the alarm history data displayed on
the PT screen is updated in memory. When
updating the display is enabled, new data will
be displayed.
An address that cannot be used for the data is
set. Check the addresses that are used to see
if there is an error. (For example, a word
address is set in a bit area.)
in the SD memory card slot. Check the SD
memory card slot.
I cannot write to an SD memory card. Check
whether the SD memory card is write-pro-
tected.
It is not possible to write to the SD memory
card because the memory is full. Delete the
data on the SD memory card, or prepare a
new SD memory card.
Data in the SD memory card cannot be read.
Check at the personal computer to see
whether the data saved on the SD memory
card has been corrupted.
The name of a file saved from the PT to the
SD memory card is incorrect. Correct the file
name.
The SD memory card cannot be recognized.
Check the SD memory card that are used.
A memory address that does not exist in the
PLC was specified in the settings to transfer
external clock data. Set the correct memory
address.
The memory in which screen data is saved
may be damaged. Contact an OMRON repre-
sentative.
