4. Replacement and Adjustment

Fusing

• Because there is a danger of burns on contact with hot parts of the fusing unit, start work when the
temperature drops to a low enough temperature.
• Turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power cord before you start any of the
procedures in this section. (page 35 "General Cautions")

Open the rear cover [A].
2.
Release the lock levers [B].
3.
Fusing Unit [A]
• For PM: Install a fusing unit with new product detection capability from the Maintenance Kit. (User
operation)
