Handset
Make sure the handset is not being used.

2 Scroll to the directory item that you want to
erase by pressing
•To search for the item by initial, see page 54.
Press

(HOLD/CLEAR)
•To stop erasing, press Ü.
4 Press
(HOLD/CLEAR)
•A beep sounds and the item is erased.
•To erase other items, repeat from step 2.
•To exit the directory list, press (OFF).
•You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing (OFF).
Base unit
Make sure the base unit is not being used.
