Using shortcuts
Registering frequently used effects as shortcuts that can then easily be recalled
and applied can shorten editing time. Up to 11 shortcuts can be registered. To
recall a registered shortcut, in the Audio Channel mode hold down the SHIFT
key and press an L key (L1 to L11).
This section shows you how to register shortcuts, delete shortcuts that are no
longer needed, and recall and apply shortcuts during editing.

In Audio Channel mode, press the B6 (Effect) key to open the Effect
dialog box.

Perform effect settings.
For details see Section "Using the Effect dialog box" (page 3-50).

Press the B3 (Memory Shortcut) key to enter the shortcut registration
standby mode. The following keys are enabled for use.
L1 to L11
Press one of these keys to select the key where you want to
register the current effects displayed in the open Effect dialog
box as a shortcut.
B6 (Cancel)
Press to leave the shortcut registration standby mode without
registering a shortcut.
Press to register the current effect settings as a shortcut and
B7 (Apply)
leave the shortcut registration standby mode.

Press the L key (L1 to L11) where you want to register the current settings
as a shortcut.

Press B7 key (Apply) to register the shortcut.
Notes
• If you press an L key where a shortcut is already registered, the new shortcut
overwrites the previous shortcut.
• The L keys (L1 to L11) all flash when the unit is in the shortcut registration
standby mode.
