Chapter 3 Operating Modes
The CP Setup mode allows you to make settings that affect control panel
operations. The settings are divided into the following six categories:
"General", for general control panel settings; "Material", for settings related to
Material mode; "Edit", for settings related to Edit mode; "Timer Rec/Play", for
settings related to Timer Rec/Play mode; "Dual Play", for settings related to
Dual Play mode; and "Port" to make individual port settings.
The following table contains the items that can be set in the CP Setup mode.
Default settings are enclosed in boxes in "Settings".
Settings
Description
Time data
Specifies the amount of time allocated for recording. Times of less

than one minute cannot be specified. Further, the amount of
space allocated may exceed that specified by a few frames.
When you want to specify a recorder port (R1 to R3), General
Setup item 0002: Record Loading Option must be set to
"Individual".
None
Sets the options for loading material to the recording port.
Auto Extend
None: Recording stops if the recording time set in the General
Loop
Setup Record Allocate Length is exceeded.
Individual
Auto Extend: Recording time is automatically extended within the
possible range.
Loop: Material is loop recorded for the amount of recording time
set in the General Setup Record Allocate Length.
Individual: Makes optional settings of recorder ports (R1 to R3). If
Edit Setup item 2005: 1st Edit Option is set to "Blank", a blank
material of the length set in the General Setup item 0001: Record
Allocate Length is loaded.
Unload
Sets the method used to unload the material assigned to a
Unload/Stop
recording port.
SHIFT+STOP>Unload
Unload: Pressing Unload key performs normal unloading.
Unload/STOP: To unload, press the Unload key or the STOP
button.
SHIFT+STOP>Unload: Holding down the SHIFT key and pressing
STOP stops operation and unloading becomes possible (unload
status).
None
Specifies whether loop playback is conducted.
Loop
When you want to specify a player port (P1 to P3), set to
Individual
"Individual".
Disable
Sets whether material currently assigned is automatically
On Stop
unloaded when other material is loaded to the port.
Anytime
Disable: Automatic unloading is disabled.
On Stop: Automatic unloading takes place only when playback is
stopped.
Anytime: Automatic unloading is possible at any time.
