6-2-7 Deleting and Modifying Edit Points

To delete selected edit points
If edit points are not properly set, such as when the OUT point occurs before
the IN point or the RECORDER edit interval and the PLAYER edit interval
duration differ, the DELETE button flashes and you cannot preview or make
edits. Further, if you try to specify an edit interval that is less than the
allowable minimum on the MAV-777 control panel, you cannot make edits.
In this case, delete the erroneous edit point and reset with a valid edit point.
Even if the DELETE button is not flashing, you can delete edit points using
the same procedure. Further, you can modify selected edit points by frame, one
at a time.

once the device is selected.

AUDIO OUT button that corresponds to the erroneous edit point.
The erroneous edit point of the button pressed is deleted and the DELETE
button stops flashing, then lights.
Note
When edit points that have been set automatically are edited, the DELETE
button may flash if a duration mismatch occurs. In this case, if you deleted the
wrong edit point (the duration mismatch occurred as a result of the correction),
the correct edit point is automatically specified again.
