Chapter 6 Editing
Deleting with LIFT is different from deleting with EXTRACT because you
can specify the channel.
Follow the procedure below to delete with LIFT.

Specify the edit points (IN and OUT points) to define the interval that you
want to delete and select a channel.
A message is displayed at this time, but just go on to step 2.

Hold down the SHIFT key and press the B7 (Lift) key.
The PREVIEW and AUTO EDIT buttons flash, indicating that you can
execute AUTO EDIT.

Press the PREVIEW button and execute PREVIEW as desired.
If you want to cancel the deletion at this time, press the B7 (Cancel
Extract) key and return to step 1.

Press the AUTO EDIT button to execute editing.
The selected interval is deleted. Black material is inserted on the Video
channel and Muting material is inserted on the Audio channel.
