1 PB.EE (playback/E-E) button
Press this button to output the VIDEO or AUDIO input
signal on the monitor, according to the conditions set in
MAV-777 Expansion menu item 108 AUTO EE
SELECT.
2 PB (playback) button
Press this button to output the VIDEO or AUDIO
playback signal on the monitor.
Note
The operation of 1 and 2 above corresponds to the
settings of the MAV-777 Basic menu items 013, 014
and 015 PB/EE SELECT. Accordingly, any settings
made hereafter apply.
3 HOLD button
Press this button to display the Time Data Entry dialog
box on the liquid crystal display, and stop the time
counter in the display. Press it to close the Time Data
Entry dialog box and return the time counter display to
showing the current values. To set time data values, first
press this button to stop the counter.

Notes
• When the HOLD button is depressed, the PORT
SELECT buttons of the control panel do not work. If
the port is changed from the meter panel or a different
controller, the Time Data Entry dialog box closes.
• When in Timer2, the HOLD button is disabled.
4 RESET button
When time data is displayed as Timer1 on the liquid
crystal display, press this button to reset the time data.
Pressing this button while the Time Data Entry dialog
box is displayed enters zeros for every digit.
5 TC/UB (time code/user bit) button
Press this button to display the user bit (UB) inserted in
the timecode of the currently selected port on the liquid
crystal display. If the TIMER SEL displayed is LTC or
VITC, the corresponding LTC or VITC user bit is
displayed.
When the user bit is displayed, pressing the TC/UB
button again returns to the normal timecode (that is time
data other than the user bit) display.
