Check for continuity with an ohmmeter.

LIGHTING RELAY/DIMMER RELAY
(1) LIGHTING RELAY COUPLER
Remove the fairing.
Remove the lighting relay and dimmer relay from
the bracket and disconnect the couplers.
Lighting Relay Inspection
(1)
BI/R TERMINAL
(2) BuM TERMINAL
Check for continuity between the W/R and BI/R
terminals.
There should not be continuity.
Apply battery voltage between the BuNol and G
terminals.
There should be continuity between the W/R and
BI/R terminals.
(3) W/R TERMINAL
(4) G TERMINAL
