FRONT WHEEl/SUSPENSION/STEERING
INSTALLATION
Position the wheel between the fork legs.
Lower the engine so the fork legs rest on the top of
the axle .
Position the tang on the speedometer gear box
against the lug on the left fork leg.
Install the axle holders with the arrow pointing for­
ward.

ARROW MARK
Install the right front caliper so that the disc is posi­
tioned between the pads, being careful not to dam­
age the pads.
Tighten the caliper bracket mount bolts.
TORQUE: 35-45 N·m
(3.5-4.5 kg·m. 25-33 ft·fb)
Tighten the right ax Ie holder nuts, starting with the
forward nut.
TORQUE: 18-26 N·m
(1.8-2.6 kg·m. 13-19 tt-Ibl
Install the left front caliper so that the disc is posi­
tioned between the pads, being careful not to darn­
age the pads.
Tighten the anti-dive pivot bolt.
(1) ANTI -DlyE PIVOT BOLT (2) MOUNT BOLT
TORQUE: 10-14 N·m
(1.0-1.4 kg-m. 7-10 ft-lbl
Tighten the caliper bracket mount bolt.
TORQUE: 35-45 N·m
(3.5-4.5 kg·m. 25-33 ft-lb)
Connect the speedometer cable and
the set screw.
secure it with
(3) SPEEDOMETER CAB LE
(1) RIGHT FRO NT CALIPER
