REMOVAL
Remove the fuel tank.
Remove the clutch diode from the wire harness.
(1) CLUTCH DIODE
INSPECTION
Check for continuitv with an ohmmeter.

NORMAL DIRECTION: CONTINUITY
REVERSE _0 IRECTION:NO CONTI NUlTY
Replace the diode if it does not meet specifications.
