Management Software
S.E.L. (System Event Log) display
Displays the data logged in motherboard memory, including hardware error information.
Automatic server restart
Automatically reboots the server if the Agent is locked for a specified duration.
Remote power control
Turns the power on or off to the Agent machine from the Management Console.
Error report
If an error occurs, error information can be reported to the Management Console. There
are two ways to send a report to the Management Console:
Display an Alert Message on the Management Console
Send an e-mail to a designated component
Five error levels are specified:
Information
Warning
Error
Success Audit
Failure Audit.
Events written to the Agent event log are reported to the Management Proxy. These
events can be filtered as desired.
Error information reported to the Management Proxy can be filtered and forwarded to the
Management Console or to a designated e-mail address.
Front panel indicators
Enables you to type a specified character string via the Management Console to change
the information displayed on the front panel display. This feature is not available on a
Magnia 3310/3310R.
Performance display
Displays CPU and memory use rates. If threshold values are set, events will be written to
the Agent event log when either rate exceeds the specified threshold.
Mobile IP Software
Displays mobile IP server information. This feature is not available on a Magnia 3310/
3310R.
Software Access Point
Displays information about a software access point. This feature is not available on a
Magnia 3310/3310R.
