Tools > Service > Clone
Save the setting information of the printer to USB memory.
Available only if you have installed the USB memory.
You can duplicate (copy) the setting information stored in the USB memory
to other printers.
The operation procedures are as follows:
Duplicating the setting information of the printer to USB memory
1. Insert the formatted USB memory into the USB connector.
2. Select Clone in the Service menu.
3. Press the right soft button to start to duplicate the setting information.
Press the left soft button to cancel the duplication.
Duplicating the setting information of the printer stored in the USB
memory to other printers
1. Power on the printer that you want to duplicate the setting information.
2. Connect the USB memory with setting information to the USB
connector of the printer.
3. Press the right soft button to start to duplicate the setting information.
4. When the duplication of the setting information completes, the printer
reboots automatically.
5. Remove the USB memory from the printer.
Note
You can use both front and rear USB connectors (Type A).
Printer Serial
Tools > Service > Maintenance > Printer Serial
Manually enter the serial number of the printer after replacing the main
(CONT) PCB.
