PAN AND TILT SETTINGS

Pan and tilt settings control how the camera moves when it is operated directly by using the joystick lever.
A Settings using joystick
operations
(AUTO STOP IDLE)(See p29)
This sets the lens pan and tilt operations that are carried out
when the joystick lever is operated.
The speed of pan and tilt operations (frame advance status)
will be faster or slower depending on the controller being
used. Adjust the speed to one which is comfortable to use for
the operator of the controller.
The default setting is "020".
Available settings:
• OFF: Pan and tilt operations are maintained at a constant
speed.
• 001–255: Pan and tilt operations become faster or slower
depending on the number selected, so select a value that
provides a comfortable speed for operation.

The pan speed will be adjusted automatically in accordance
with the zoom ratio.
Available settings:
• ON: The lens rotation becomes slower when a closer
zoom ratio is being used, so that objects can be monitored
more slowly. (Default setting)
• OFF: The lens rotation becomes faster when a closer
zoom ratio is being used, so that objects cannot be
monitored slowly.

This stores the basic position (north) for the lens to operate
when the camera is set up.
After this setting has been made, the lens will automatically
move to face north when the camera's power is turned off
and back on again.
