CONNECTIONS

Turn off the power for all equipment before making these connections.
Read the instruction manuals for all of the equipment being connected. In addition, if the cables are connected incorrectly, it may
cause smoke or incorrect operation to occur.
Connections for using RS-485 control
NOTE: If the camera and the system controller are too far
apart, the reliability of the control signals may drop. If
this happens, use a RS-485 distributor.
Coaxial cable type and maximum length
• Cable type RG-6U (5C-2V), 500 m maximum.
• Cable type RG-11U (7C-2V), 600 m maximum.
CAUTION: Using CCTV/Video-grade coaxial cable.
Power cable

Monitor cable
(75 Ω coaxial cable)
Communication cable
(twisted pair cable)
Consumable parts
The following parts are consumable parts. Use the service
lives given as a guide for replacement. Note that the
service lives are only to be used as guides, and are not a
guarantee of performance for each part for the length of
time specified. In addition, the service life for each part will
vary depending on the operating environment and
conditions of use.
• Lens: Approx. 20,000 hours (1,200,000 operations)
• Slip ring: Approx. 20,000 hours (1,200,000 operations)
• FFC cable: Approx. 1,000,000 operations
