Camera connection cable

Connection board
Connect the communication cable and the power supply
cable to the connectors on this board.

Communication terminal
Connect the communication cable (twisted pair cable)
from the system controller to this terminal.
Loosen the terminal screws, insert the cable as shown in
the illustration, and then securely tighten the screws.
There are two types of connectors, for RS-485A and
RS-485B cables, so make sure that the cables are
connected to the same corresponding connectors as for
the system controller.

AC power terminal
Connect the power supply cable to these terminals.
Loosen the terminal screws, insert the cable as shown in
the illustration, and then securely tighten the screws.
The connection terminals do not have plus or minus
settings. The middle terminal is a ground (EARTH)
terminal which should be connected if required.
NOTE: Adjust each cable so that they will not be
subjected to any outside interferences and then fix
the cables in this position.

This is used to connect the connection board inside the
main cover to the camera unit.

Connect the coaxial cable from the monitor to the BNC
connector of this cable.

Termination and communication setting circuit board
The termination and communication settings are made by
changing the positions of the jumpers.

System controller setting circuit board
SW1 for setting the camera address and SW2 for setting
the protocol and communication speed are located on the
top and bottom of the circuit board respectively.
Setup location
Take the following points into consideration when setting up
the camera.
• The wall or ceiling used for installation should have enough
strength to bear approximately four times the combined
weight of the camera and bracket. Select a wall or ceiling
that is strong enough to bear such a weight.
• Select a wall or ceiling surface that is completely flat, so
that there will be no space between the base of the bracket
and the wall.
Settings
Follow the same procedure given on page 4 to make the
settings.
