C Changing the password (PASSWORD CHANGE)
Changing the password
If changing the password from "123456" (default setting) to
"654321"

Select "PASSWORD CHANGE", and then
tilt the joystick lever to c.
The password setting screen will be displayed.

Select "INPUT PASSWORD", and then tilt

the joystick lever to c.
OLD PASSWORD:

Select "OLD PASSWORD", tilt the joystick
lever to c, and then enter the current
password.
Tilt the joystick lever to j or l to change the setting,
and tilt it to d or c to move the flashing cursor to a
different position.
Enter the current (default) password, starting from "1".

Once you have entered "123456" in "OLD PASSWORD",
tilt the joystick lever to d and hold it there until
displayed to complete the password entry

Select "BACK", and then tilt the joystick
lever to c.
"INPUT PASSWORD" will be selected.
Enter the new password ("654321") in the

"INPUT PASSWORD" setting.
Enter the new password, starting from "6", in the same
way for the old password.

CONFIRM
PASSWORD LOCK
BACK
Tilt the joystick lever to d and hold it there until
displayed. This completes the password entry.
Tilt the joystick lever to j or l to select

"CONFIRM", then tilt it to c and enter the
new password ("654321") once more.
Tilt the joystick lever to d and hold it there until
displayed. This completes the password entry.

Select "BACK", and then tilt the joystick
lever to c to complete the setting.

Setting and deactivating a password
To set a password, set "PASSWORD LOCK" to "ON".
Select "PASSWORD CHANGE", and then

tilt the joystick lever to c.
The password setting screen will be displayed.

Select "PASSWORD LOCK", and then tilt
the joystick lever to c.
The current setting will flash.

Select "ON", and then tilt the joystick lever
to d.
Select "BACK", and then tilt the joystick

lever to c to complete the setting.
When deactivating the password, set "PASSWORD
LOCK" to "OFF".
NOTE: If "PASSWORD LOCK" is set to "ON", the password
entry prompt will be displayed on the screen when
the MENU button on the system controller is pressed,
so enter the password.
To redisplay the menu
The "PASSWORD" screen will be

Enter the password, and then tilt the
joystick lever to c.
The menu screen will be displayed.
