MASKING SETTINGS
(PRIVACY MASK)
Sometimes there are parts of images being monitored that need to be hidden for privacy reasons.
You can apply a privacy mask (gray pattern) to such places to hide them so that the masked areas cannot be seen by people who
are not meant to see them.

Mask presets 2 to 4 (Operating procedure is the same as for mask preset 1.)
Setting details
1 Mask preset selection (MASK No.)
You can use the joystick lever to set the privacy mask
anywhere within the area that can be monitored. One
mask can be set for each mask preset number. Up to a
maximum of four masks can be set.
The possible setting range is shown below.

NOTE: The area that has been masked may become visible
at some times while the mask position is moving. If
this happens, re-adjust the mask position.

2 Mask setting (SET)
When you select "SET", the mask setting window is
displayed.
• CALL PRESET1 TO CONFIRM . . . . . . :
Use the joystick lever to search for the image to be
masked.
• POSITION:
Use the joystick lever to move the mask to the position
to be masked.
• SIZE:
Use the joystick lever to adjust the size of the mask.
The width can only be changed toward the right, and the
height can only be changed toward the bottom.
3 Masking display on/off (ACTIVATE)
This sets whether the masks for each mask preset number
that has been set using "MASK No." are displayed or not.
For example, if mask preset number "003" is set to "OFF",
the mask will disappear.
