SPECIFICATIONS
Making a hole for mount embedded type
If installing the mount embedded type (VCC-9000EBCP/EBSP, VCC-9100EBCP/EBSP), mark the installation position on the
ceiling by the following procedure, and then drill a hole with a diameter of approximately 225 mm.
Setup conditions:
• Ceiling thickness: 0.8 cm (0.38 inches) to 4.2 cm (1.65 inches)
• Bearing load: 4 times the weight of the camera

Determine the installation position for the

camera.
2 Place the accessory template against the
ceiling, and use a marker to draw a circle
all around its edge.
Use a blade or similar tool to make a hole

along the line that has been drawn.
NOTE: When making the hole, always be sure to make it
inside the line. If you make the hole outside the line,
installation may not be possible.
4 Once the hole has been made, insert the
camera and secure it with the screws.

Marking the position using the drop-prevention
wire
Determine the installation position for the

camera.
2 Use the drop-prevention wire that is
attached to the main cover of the camera to
draw a circle 225 mm in diameter on the
ceiling.

Use a drill to make a hole 3 mm wide at the center of
the installation position.

Loosen and remove the screw that is attaching the
drop-prevention wire to the main cover.

Hold the washer ring at one end of the wire against
the 3 mm hole so that it is secure, and insert a pen or
similar into the washer at the other end of the wire and
pull the wire tight to draw the circle.

NOTE:
• If the diameter of the circle that is drawn in the ceiling
is greater than 338 mm, it will not be possible to install
the camera. Be sure to check that the diameter of the
circle drawn is within the range of 225±2 mm.
• Be sure to reattach the drop-prevention wire in its
original position after using it to draw the circle.
3 Use a blade or similar tool to make a hole
along the line that has been drawn.
NOTE: When making the hole, always be sure to make it
inside the line. If you make the hole outside the line,
installation may not be possible.
Once the hole has been made, insert the
