• Ballast may be necessary, or benefi cial, on
some vehicles to provide maximum traction,
braking and handling.
• Any ballast material (such as sand and blocks)
must be solidly secured to the vehicle preventing
it from moving under harsh plowing conditions.

without special tools and knowledge

NOTE: Coat all electrical connections with
dielectric grease.
• Clean and paint blade and components as
needed.

• Always store MVP PLUS snowplow with
blades in retracted (vee) position. This
exposes the minimum amount of angle
ram rod, and captures the least amount of
hydraulic fl uid in the system.
• Be sure lift ram is fully collapsed so the rod is
not exposed. (Not required for HTS™ blades.)
• Apply general purpose petroleum grease
to exposed chrome surfaces of the rams to
prevent rust.
• Lubricate all pivot points (for example, stand
lock pin assembly and lower spring anchor)
with general purpose petroleum grease.
