These parameters determines how the combination of rudder and
thruster is selected. When ONLY THRUSTER or RUDDER &
THRUSTER is selected, two additional parameters are added as
follows (when pressing INFO):
Thruster Deadband
The Thruster Deadband determines how many degrees the vessel
must deviate from set course before a thruster command is given.
Range:
Minimum Thrust
This parameter determines the amount of thrust to be provided when
a thruster command is given. Also refer to page 5-57 for details.
When ONLY RUDDER is selected "PARAM. SET 2" will appear in the

display. In this way the autopilot can be configured for two sets of
parameters, i.e. Hi speed and Lo speed.
Follow-up scale
As the maximum input current for the follow-up signal (handle hard-
over) is the same, regardless of the follow-up scale, this parameter
must be set in accordance to the rudder deflection in order to match
the corresponding feedback signal from the RF14XU unit.
