Configuring the management port

To configure the management port, complete the following steps:
1. Open a Telnet session:
2. At the command prompt, enter administrator.
3. At the password prompt, enter your administrator password.
Complete the following two steps for a dual-controller DS300 or DS400
storage subsystem only:
4. At the command prompt, enter controller peer enable.
5. To determine whether the peer controller is ready, enter controller
6. For all storage subsystems: When the peer controller is ready, change the IP

controller with the 1 GB system DIMM from the failed controller.
