Components of the DS300 storage subsystem

The following sections describe the components of the DS300 storage subsystem.
The hot-swap features of the storage subsystem enable you to remove and replace
hard disk drives and power supplies without turning off the storage subsystem.
Therefore, you can maintain the availability of the system while a hot-swap device
is removed, installed, or replaced.
