Appendix A. Storage subsystem ID and records

Record information about the storage subsystem in Table 9. You will need this
information if you have to call for service.
Table 9. Product identification record
Product name

Controller #1 serial number
Controller #2 serial number
The storage subsystem serial number is on the front bezel and on the system label
on the rear of the storage subsystem. The controller serial number is on the
lower-right side of the RAID controller (at the rear of the storage subsystem).
Use Table 10 to keep a record of the options that are installed in or attached to the
storage subsystem. This information can be helpful when you install additional
options or if you have to report a hardware problem. Make a copy of this table
before recording information in it, in case you need extra space to write new values
later, or when you update the storage subsystem configuration.
