b. Grasp both latches and pull the controller out of the bay.
c. Place the controller on a dry, level surface.
Attention: To avoid breaking the retaining clips or damaging the DIMM
connectors, open and close the clips gently.
9. Remove the DIMM from the RAID controller:
a. Open the retaining clip on each end of the DIMM connector. Figure 51
shows the cache and system DIMMs.

b. Remove the DIMM.
c. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new DIMM to any
unpainted metal surface on the storage subsystem. Then, remove the
DIMM from the package.
d. Angle the DIMM so that the DIMM keys align correctly with the slot.
