CAUTION
Still image capture will only capture images from image
signal inputs. For example, if you capture a still image
from video that includes a PinP image for vital sign
monitoring, the vital sign image will not be captured.
Note
You can configure format setting for still images files in
the [User Settings] screen – [Quality] tab.
For details on this setting, see "Configuring Image
Quality Settings" (page 29).
Still image data directory
Still image data is stored in one of the following
directories, depending on the system administrator
settings.
Still image directory
<uppermost folder of the external media>/<recording start
date (year, month, day, hour, minute, second)_patient ID>/
STILL/
or
<uppermost folder of the external media>/<patient ID>/
<recording start date (year, month, day, hour, minute,
second)>/STILL/
Note
The order of the year, month, and day of the recording date
used in the storage directory is based on the date format of
the system settings.
Stopping Recording
Operations
Recorded data is not only created when recording
operations are performed, but also when still images are
captured. Perform the following to stop recording
operations, even if only still image capturing was
performed.

Manual Recording Stop

Press the x STOP button on the infrared remote
control unit or the front panel of the unit.
If the [MENU] screen is displayed, you can also press
the ENTER button to stop recording. In such cases,
continue with the following steps.
Infrared remote control unit

ENTER button
xSTOP button
xSTOP button
