Function Keys
When using the HVO-1000MD/HVO-3000MT, you can
assign certain functions (recording, playback, etc.) to the
function keys (F1 to F12) at the top of a keyboard and
perform these functions.
We recommend assigning frequently used functions based
on your working environment.
Note
Contact your local Sony representative to change the
function assignments. They cannot be changed by general
users.
Using Function Keys
To enable use of the function keys, set [Keyboard Mode]
to [Hard Keyboard] in the [System Admin Settings] screen
- [Device Settings] screen.
Notes
• The function keys are enabled only when the hard
keyboard mode is enabled.
• Hard keyboard mode cannot be enabled when the unit is
in touch panel / mouse mode.

Press the MENU button.
The [MENU] screen appears.

Use the V and v buttons to select [Settings], and press
the ENTER button.
The [Settings] screen appears.

Use the B and b buttons to select [System Admin
Settings], and press the ENTER button.
The [System Admin Settings] screen appears.

Use the V , v , B , and b buttons to select [Device
Settings], and press the ENTER button.
The [Device Settings] screen appears.

Use the B and b buttons to select the [Device] tab.
