Overview

Features

The HVO-1000MD HD Video Recorder and the
HVO-3000MT 3D HD Video Recorder are HD/SD-
compatible video recorders intended for use in recording
images from surgical procedures and medical
examinations. The unit allows you to record images from
endoscopic devices and cameras used in the operating
room, and transmit these images to doctors' offices in real
time via the hospital network.
Improved efficiency during and after
medical procedures
Video and still image recording
Record videos and still images from endoscopic devices
and cameras used in the operating room. HD/SD-
compatibility allows recording and playback in high
definition. The HVO-3000MT can also record and play
back 3D images.
Note
The way in which 3D images are perceived may vary from
person to person.
Simultaneous saving to two storage media
Data saving to up to two external storage media is
completed at roughly the same timing as the end of the
surgical procedure or examination.
Printer connectivity
Connect the unit to a printer, and print images for medical
reports via simple controls from the [Recording List]
screen or a foot switch, for example. You can also
configure settings to print images when they are captured.
Vital sign monitor recording
Input images for vital sign monitoring to the unit and
record them.

• To input vital sign monitoring images, the monitoring
device must support RGB output.
• This function is disabled when you are using the
HVO-3000MT in 3D mode.
Support for a variety of external storage media
Record simultaneously to USB-compatible external hard
drives and USB memory devices via simple controls, or
copy the data at a later time. This is useful when you want
to edit recorded images on a computer.
Editing recorded data
Record images to external media, and use commercially
available software to play back or edit the images on a
computer as necessary.
Network file transfer
Transfer recorded data from the operating room directly to
computers within the hospital network.
Hospital-wide updates of surgical
procedures
Real-time transmission
Improve workflow efficiency by using the streaming
function to transmit real-time images from endoscopic
devices and cameras used the operating room and images
from vital sign monitoring to staff in doctors' offices and
ICUs.
Notes
• The Sony Network Recorder and Network Recorder
Software are required for streaming transmissions.
• Streaming transmissions are disabled when the
recording mode settings are set to HD 1080p format.
• Streaming transmissions are disabled when you are
using the HVO-3000MT in 3D mode.
