Notes
• When using two streams in 3D mode, input the left
image to the IN 1 connector and the right image to
IN 2.
• When using one stream in 3D mode, use the IN 1
connector for input.
• When using in 2D mode, use the IN 2 connector for
input.
• When simultaneously recording 3D and 2D images
while using one stream in 3D mode, input the 3D
image to the IN 1 connector and the 2D image to IN
2.
H DVI-D OUT connector (19-pin DVI)
Outputs DVI-D signals.
I RGB IN connector (15-pin mini D-sub)
Inputs RGB signals.
Note
On the HVO-3000MT, this can only be used in 2D
mode.
J REMOTE contact switch connectors 1 to 4 (stereo
mini jack)
Use these to control the unit via contact switches.
Note
Contact switch connector 4 outputs input signals from
contact switch connector 3 via pass-through, or returns
the status of the pass-through destination.
For details on other contact switches, see "[Contact
Switch] Tab" (page 95).
K REMOTE MONITOR connector (RJ-45)
Use this to perform monitor controls.
For details on monitor controls, see "[Contact
Switch] Tab" (page 95).
L Main power switch
Set this to the ? (on) position to turn on the power. To
turn off the power, set the switch to the a (off)
position.
During regular use of the unit, leave the main power
switch in the ? (on) position, and use the 1 (standby)
switch on the front panel of the unit to switch between
operational mode and standby mode.
CAUTION
When you press the 1 (standby) switch on the front
panel of the unit while the unit is in operational mode,
data is saved before the unit enters standby mode.
Always make sure that the unit is in standby mode
before setting the main power switch to the a (off)
position to turn off the power.
M
AC IN connector
Connect an AC power cord (not supplied) here.
N REMOTE RS-232C connector 2 (9-pin D-sub)
Use this connector when controlling this unit or
external devices from a serial interface device.
O HD-SDI (high-definition serial digital interface)
OUT connector (BNC type)
Outputs HD and SD format video signals.
P HD-SDI (high-definition serial digital interface) IN
connector (BNC type) (HVO-1000MD)
Inputs HD and SD format video signals.
Q HD-SDI (high-definition serial digital interface) IN
