Assembling the damper

Mount rebound damping shim stack
–
Apply thread locker to the threads of the piston rod.
Loctite ® 2701™
–
Screw on mount

–
Mount the compression shim stack

–
Grind piston
–
Clean the piston.
–
Mount the piston.

Grease the threads of the mount.
Lubricant (T152) (

Mount nut

Align both pistons using the special tool.
Centering sleeve (T1214) (

Tighten the nut.

Remove the special tool.

Assemble the seal ring retainer. (
