6.4 Positioning aids

CAUTION
Improper adjustments
States of panic, falling of the user
► If the product is adjusted too tightly, it may lead to unnecessary pain or suffering of the user. Immediately
modify the settings if you detect signs of discomfort or fear in the user when using the product.
► Adjusting the belt straps too loosely can cause them to slip upwards/downwards so that the user can slide
into a position that is dangerous to him/her. In addition, the fastening snaps could open unintentionally if they
slide against hard parts of clothing (e.g., buttons).
6.4.1 Adjusting the thoracic supports
1) Loosen the knurled nuts on the back of the back insert.
2) Adjust the width/height by moving the supports in the slotted holes (see Fig. 51).
INFORMATION: If necessary, you can adjust the height of the supports by shifting the mounting
screws in the slotted hole of the back plate.
3) Hand-tighten the knurled nuts.
6.4.2 Adjusting the abductor
The abductor can be adjusted as follows:
• Shifting of the mounting screw to other holes/slotted holes of the seat plate (see Fig. 25).
• Moving the abductor in the slotted hole (see Fig. 26)
6.4.3 Adjusting the chest and shoulder support
INFORMATION

The chest and shoulder support can be adjusted as follows:
• Moving the belt in the 2 pairs of clips on the back plate (see Fig. 29, Pos. 2/3)
• Moving the belt in the sewn-on clips of the chest and shoulder support (see Fig. 27, Pos. 5).
6.4.4 Adjusting the fixation vest

The fixation vest can be adjusted as follows:
• Moving the belt in the 6 clips on the back plate (see Fig. 32, Pos. 1-3)
6.4.5 Adjusting the groin strap
