Unpack the optional tray, and then remove all packing material.

Place the tray near the printer.

Turn the printer off.

Align the printer to the tray, and then lower the printer into place.
Note: Optional trays lock together when stacked. When necessary, remove stacked trays one at a time from the
top down.
1 Standard 550-sheet tray (Tray 1)

Turn the printer back on.

Set the printer software to recognize the optional input source.
