Unlocking a Locked User Account
A locked user account can be unlocked by the administrator or supervisor with unlocking privileges using
Web Image Monitor.
1.
Open a Web browser.
2.
Enter "http://(the machine's IP address or host name)/" in the address bar.
When entering an IPv4 address, do not begin segments with zeros. For example: If the address is
"192.168.001.010", you must enter it as "192.168.1.10" to connect to the machine.
The top page of Web Image Monitor appears.

Click [Login].
The administrator or supervisor with unlocking privileges can log on.
Enter the login user name and login password.

Click [Address Book].
The Address Book page appears.
5.
Select the locked out user's account.
6.
Click [Change].
7.
Select the "Lockout" to [Inactive] under "Authentication Information".
8.
Click [OK].
9.
Click [Logout].

Auto Logout

This can be specified by the machine administrator.
When using Basic Authentication, Windows Authentication, LDAP Authentication or Integration Server
Authentication, the machine automatically logs you off if you do not use the control panel within a given
time. This feature is called "Auto Logout". Specify how long the machine is to wait before performing Auto
Logout.
