Message
"Only one memory device
can be used in one time.
Remove all other media to
resume writing."

Cause
Another memory device was
inserted while the following
message was displayed:
"Clear/Stop key was
pressed. Do you want to stop
scanning?"
The machine is using another
function such as copying.
No paper is loaded in the
specified paper tray.
The sender's name was not
specified.
While a file was being sent, a
network error occurred and
the file could not be sent
correctly.
Sending has failed. Press the
[Job Information] key to
check the status.
The SMTP authentication e-
mail address and the
administrator's e-mail
address do not match.
Messages Displayed When Using the Scanner Function
Solution
Remove the extra memory device. Only
one memory device can be inserted at a
time.
Retry scanning after the operation with
the other function is completed.
Load paper of a size that is listed in the
message.
A sender's name should be specified
before sending e-mail. Send e-mail after
specifying the sender's name.
Try the operation once more. If the
message is still shown, the network may
be crowded. Contact the administrator.
Press the [Job Information] key to display
the transmission results, and then check
which job has not been sent. See
