7.2.2 Messages about operation mistakes and breakdowns

Messages about operation mistakes and breakdowns are as follows:
• If the message is not attended to after a period of time, the print data remaining in
the printer might be cancelled. Ensure that the message is not left unattended for a
long period of time.
• The print data remaining in the printer and information stored in the printer
memory are not secured.
The printer comes with a feature to set alarm time. See "5.3 Common Menu Items" for
details on setting the alarm time.

Cause/Treatment
Cause:
The paper tray is not loaded properly.
Treatment: Load the paper tray correctly.
User Guide (Copier)
Cause:
No paper is loaded in tray *. Or the paper tray
is not correctly loaded.
Treatment: Press
and then load paper in tray * correctly.
User Guide (Copier)
Cause:
Paper of xxxx size is not found in BPT.
Treatment: Load paper of xxxx size in the BPT.
Cause:
A4, B4 or A3 paper is not loaded.
Treatment: Load A4, B4 or A3 paper.
This message may appear during the printing of Print
Utility which is restricted to these paper sizes.
User Guide (Copier) and "Appendix C Print Utility"
Cause:
A5 paper cannot be loaded into tray *.
Treatment: Replace the A5 paper in tray * with paper of
other sizes.
Cause:
The assigned A5 paper is not loaded in tray.
Treatment: Load A5 paper into Tray 1.
The A5 paper can be loaded only in Tray 1.
