REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY

• Raise the front wheel off the ground using a jack or wooden
block.
• Remove the brake calipers and front wheel. (! 5-8)
$
* Make sure that the motorcycle is supported securely.
* Do not operate the front brake lever with the front
wheel removed.
FRONT FENDER
• Remove the brake hose clamp bolt 1 (RH).
• Remove the front fender mounting bolts and plates behind
(LH and RH).
• Disconnect the brake hose clamp 2 from the front fender.
FRONT FORK
• Loosen the front fork upper clamp bolt 1.
NOTE:
Slightly loosen the front fork cap bolt 2 to facilitate later disas-
sembly.
• Loosen the front fork lower clamp bolts 3.
• Remove the front fork.
