Safeguards against leakage current
Take the following measures to prevent peripheral misoperation and accidental electric shock from occurrlng due tc
leakage current:
1)
Earth the noise filter before connecting the power supply. In this case, make sure that the noise filter is connect€
to the ground securely via the earth of the enclosure.
2)
Take the leakage current of the noise filter into account when selecting the earth leakage circuit breaker and ear
leakage relay. Also, the earth leakage circuit breaker may not be used since the leakage current of a large-
capacity noise filter is large. In such a case, use an earth leakage relay having large sensitivity current, or if an
earth leakage circuit breaker and earth leakage relay cannot be used, earth the noise filter securely as describe1
