Setting the Application Source
The boot-param device command, in Loader Configuration mode, sets the source of the
application to be either local FS (File System) or FTP server.
Command Syntax
Loader(config)#boot-param device {local | network}
Argument Description
local
network
Boot Loader
Restores the primary flash.
Restores the secondary flash.
Specifies the IP address of the TFTP server where the FLASH memory will
be restored.
The name of the backup file.
Description
Sets the source of the application to be either local FS (File
System) or FTP server.
Sets the name of the application file (file name only, without
path).
Sets the IP of the FTP server.
Sets the user name for FTP server access.
Sets the password for FTP server access.
Specifies the startup configuration.
Displays the boot parameters configuration.
Starts application from file, stored in local file system.
Downloads application from FTP or TFTP server.
