When you use the keypad to change the backlight or contrast, the changes
are not saved permanently in flash memory. You can save the changes in
flash memory later. For help, see "Exiting Screens and Saving Changes" on
page 41.
For more information about backlight and display contrast, see "Display
Contrast" or "Display Backlight Timeout" in Chapter 6 of the 2400
Family system manual.
You can use the status icons on the right side of the screen to monitor the
status of battery power, special keys, and network communications. The
status icons are disabled by default.

To enable the status icons
Note: If you enable status icons, the screen is configurable up to 21 lines
by 31 characters instead of 21 lines by 32 characters.
1 Scan this bar code to enter the TRAKKER Antares 2400 Menu System:

2 Choose Configuration Menu, Terminal Menu, and then choose
Display.
3 Set the Display Video Mode command to normal display with icons
(Nrm/Icon) or inverse display with icons (Inv/Icon).
4 Exit the Menu System and save all changes. The status icons are now
enabled.
